My creative practice has always been in the arena of society building. Until 2020, my practice focused on the influence of environments, and the representational influence of public policy on society building. 2020 kicked off a chaotic but fertile period of societal change, a climax to a prolonged period of gradual awakening. What were societal constants or universals became understood as variables, or particularist in their origin. As with many others, this catalyst drew my attention to the potent nature of symbols, stories and culture as the arena's of societal construction.


I realized that the best stories become economies, environments, and nations. Since 2020, my practice has moved towards the territory of the storyteller and the realization that the composition of lifestyle is really a collection of living stories that get built into distribution and habitation structures. What happens when we can collectively own our stories? My current practice explores how to adapt creative practices to a collective to develop new collective culture. I sense this represents a fundamental shift in creative direction, curation, cultural value systems (web 3), and ultimately- our lifestyles.

With the rise of the internet of value and digital cultural objects as living meme interfaces, memes are quickly becoming the seeds of new network societies and economies.
